Right ear helix is dry/hurts What is this? bug bite perhaps?

I woke up a few days ago, I didn't notice anything but later in the day when I touched the right helix of my ear.. it felt like.. I can't explain it. Bear with me please. At first it felt like dry mucus.. I could 'peel' it off. It was hurting after a while, it felt sticky when I peeled off whatever was on it. I checked a mirror and saw a small red mark.. probably a bug bite.

After I wash it with soap and water, the 'mucus' layer just comes back. It's dry and rough.. doesn't hurt much though and it's not too noticable.. What the heck is this?

Lots of centipedes and spiders are in my room at night..
